The Cleanup That Kept Growing

Every dumpster has a story. Some stories are about fresh starts. Some are about long-overdue garage cleanouts. And every once in a while… a story reminds us that good intentions can grow beyond the maximum fill line.

It starts out, "We still have room for one more thing."

Then it becomes, "Well... maybe one more."

Before long, an old chair gets added. Then a few boxes. Some lumber. A few mattress. A couple more bags. One last pile from the garage. Suddenly, the cleanup that started with good intentions has turned into what we like to call Over-Load-N-Go Results.

Why Overfilling is a Problem

• Materials can shift during transport.

• Items sticking above the top rail can make pickup unsafe.

• Loose debris can fall onto the roadway and create hazards for other drivers.

• Overfilled dumpsters may require additional labor, extra fees, or even a second trip to safely complete the pickup.
